Watch and Ride Liege-Bastogne-Liege

Feel the ambiance of the race as you follow the riders on the track from the start to the finish.
Saturday, April 26 will be a day you will never forget. The tour version of Liege-Bastogne-Liege is the most challenging Cycle event during the Spring Classics season.
Ride steep, tough climbs and enjoy the fantastic atmosphere.
Cycle the Ardennes and explore the beautiful medieval villages on your way due to the Ardennes.
Delight yourself in the Belgian gastronomic specialties.

Discover and cycle the Ardennes which is especially relevant because of its rolling hills, beautiful valleys, ancient towns, and local gastronomic specialties. The Liège-Bastogne-Liège (La Doyenne) UCI World Tour Classic is since 1892 a classic Tour. Furthermore, Liège-Bastogne-Liège is one of the five cycle monuments. LBL is the toughest race with very difficult climbs, winding roads, and rolling hills. Due to the late winter, the race was sometimes affected by snow and therefore Liège-Bastogne-Liège is a first-class challenger.

Day 1

Friday, April 25 Check in

Please make your own arrangements for travelling to Liege or meet us at Brussels International Airport (Zaventem) and take our optional airport transfer. Optional Airport Transfer: One transfer from the airport today at 11:30am. Please allow an hour from your flight landing time to your transfer time, to allow you to get through passport control and collect your luggage. The transfer takes approximately 1 hour, meaning your expected arrival time in to Liege will be around 12:30pm. Cost of the airport transfer: €85 per person Race Briefing: This evening the bike guides will do a race briefing to run through the LBL Challenge race day logistics and the route.

Day 2

Saturday, April 26 LBL challenge

Today is the day! We have an early start this morning. Early breakfasts are arranged in the hotel restaurant. Getting to the start: For 2025 the Liege Bastogne Liege Challenge will start and finish in the town of Sprimont, 25km south of Liege. After breakfast, go to Sprimont where your challenge awaits you! The challenge operates rolling start times rather than a mass start, so you can pick what time you want to start the ride. The return after the finish: You will have some food and drinks available at the finish, there will be a shuttle service back to Liege based on when people finish.

Start Times:
257 km: between 6:30 am and 7:30 am
147 km: between 6:30 am and 9:30 am
70 km: between 8:00 am and 10:00 am

Day 3

Sunday, April 27 Liege-Bastogne-Liege pro race

After breakfast you will head to Quai des Ardennes to enjoy the build up to the race. The race starts at approximately 09:15am and finishes at about 16:00pm. After the riders are on their way, we provide a guided shuttle to watch the riders come past at a great location on the route. You will return to Liege for the finish. If you’d prefer to rest your legs today, you can stay in Liege where there will be plenty of like-minded fans watching the race unfold in a cafe before heading outside to catch the finish. Evening meal will be at the hotel.

Day 4

Monday, April 28 Departure Day

After breakfast, it’s time to check out and depart Liege. Optional Airport Transfer One airport transfer to Brussels Airport on departure at 09:00am for flights departing after 12:00pm. Available at a supplement. Cost of the airport transfer: €85 per person

Train

The Airport’s train stations are located below Zaventem’s International Airport and Schiphol International Airport.
Trains from Schiphol International Airport to Liege Railway Station are running frequently The train ride takes approx three and a half hours. The Thalys (fast train between Paris and Amsterdam) has frequent fares, at least every half an hour between Paris Gare du Nord – Lille – Brussels Midi- Antwerp- Rotterdam – Amsterdam. The Eurostar (train which connects Great Britain to Continental Europe) from/ to London has up to 9 fares per day.
